Been a long time since I've done anything here. I get easily discouraged and I end up not finishing what I started.
This place was going to be just a nice little site to post some of my thoughts, stories, and such, but it hasn't even been that.
I don't really know what to do with this space here; I know I don't want to close it. I like the idea of having my own space, even if I'm the only one who sees it.
Maybe i'll try and get fancy with a Wordpress site. Maybe i'll finally find someone to make my vision of what I wanted this site to be (all flashy and professional looking) and maybe ursine will fly?

I'm so emotional at the moment, that I can barely see through my tears to type. I literally worshiped at the altar of this mans creative genius, and eagerly awaited the each and every fragment of his vivid dream of a far off place and time. Robert Jordan, you will be missed by your family, friends, and millions of fans. I think I speak for many when I say:
"The light shine on you, Lord Robert of House Jordan. May you shelter in the palm of the Creator's hand and the last embrace of the Mother welcome you home."

This is a test of your Dynamic News System. If this had been an actual news posting, official news and information would follow.

Dynamic news, hallelujah!

Okay, I got a simple to use (read install and configure), yet fairly functional dynamic news program setup here!
Looks like I can make it do all kinds of things, like have a profile just for front page news, and another profile, with its own unique settings for another page with fully custom fields for things like mood and music and such. So maybe I have the answer to how to streamline getting my poetry and stories posted up online...
Though truth be told, I pump those out so slowly that it wouldn't make a difference if I had to encode each bit to the server manually with a Morse code tapper :/
In the meantime, here is a www.youtube.com embed test:
